Words travel. So do cuts of meat.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and your cooking talents! I appreciate your calmness in this storm 💙
Yum. I have all but wine and chicken. Making a shopping list! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this. I’m a huge fan of beans, chickpeas, and lentils.
I’m also a bit exhausted and slowing down to cook will help.
We Marylanders are happy to take credit for another delicious food item 🤩 🦀
Food can bring us back to our center - and we can share it! Two benefits that are hard to top!
When you say "sweat the veggies" do you mean saute in pan drippings?
Looks delicious!!
Thank you! I get a lot from your content! This recipe was unexpected!
Onward!
Yes! “Sweat” them means to sauté them as they release their water content and become translucent.
love this Slade! I just sent you a dm request here on Substack in the “requests” tab of the “chat” section -Chef Harrison :)
Thanks for your thoughts and your recipes. For this recipe, could I substitute brown rice for the lentils?
Yes! That sounds great to me.
I just made this for dinner and it was delicious!! Thank you for sharing and for community building ❤️
Wonderful to hear that! Thank you! 🙏🏼
Thanks for the recipe and your words.
If you double the recipe, would you double the about of herbs in the bundle or make 2 bundles?
You throwing the spoon after the taste was enough to make me want this.
I would make a heftier bundle, yes!
Maybe it’s called Maryland bc it kind of look like the outline of the state?🤷♀️ the eastern shore is the leg!
That’s a reasonable theory!
Thanks!
This recipe is so delicious and comforting, just what we need in times like these. Thanks for sharing your food and wisdom ☺️
I enjoyed this, thank you! I don’t see a number of servings, but ours was two for the chicken and about four for the lentil mixture. Next time I wild add more chicken.
Me too!
Good observation! Thank you. 🙏🏼
I questioned if there’d be enough flavor! I’m sorry I even questioned that. Fantastic dish. We thoroughly enjoyed💚
A perfect recipe to end my week and I appreciate you.
