One of my favorite things about Dolly is that she was willing to learn and change abd keep on loving everyone. I read a piece yesterday about her Dixie Stampede, where families could treat themselves to dinner and a show. But when someone told her that folks were offended/upset by the name Dixie, and explained to her why, she changed the name to Dolly Parton's Stampede. She didn't want anyone to feel bad and she wanted her place to welcome everyone. That was Dolly - welcoming and loving to everyone. She was a remarkable human being. One of the best, I'd say. ❤️✌️🤠

Dolly was truly one of a kind and a national treasure. If ever a soul embodied a genuine Christian love, it resided in her.
