Our Ft. Lauderdale friends with a mango tree sadly used to bring over mangoes that had fallen from the tree! We tried to tell them that they would taste so much better if they just let us pick them off the tree, but, then again, they also used ketchup as spaghetti sauce. No culinary genes in that family!
