Stumbled upon this because I was inspired by the last episode (4:8) to write my weekly substack about it, and I had been wondering whether anyone else was similarly moved. I saw episode 8 through the lens of what Ted Lasso can teach us about healing. Loving the depth of this show and the wisdom that can be pulled out and applied across the board. And, yes, this is what our democracy needs…
The writers for Ted Lasso are stellar. Stellar! Would love to see Beard reading my book, Prince Adam’s Quest. But I’ll keep watching. It’s just that good.
Love Ted Lasso for this very reason. His lessons resonate for so many of us and I love how you pointed out how they can teach us about democracy as well. I'd like to add my favorite so far from season 4 - "There is a reason the rear view mirror is smaller than the windshield" and invite us all to look forward to a better future.
